BOUNDARIES AS PRACTITIONERS MASTERCLASS: Foundation Boundaries (Part 1)
Boundaries Workshop Series for Helping Professionals
AASW CPD Category 2: Professional Learning & ACA OPD Approved Provider
Available live and on-demand (recording access included)
Boundaries aren’t just about saying no, they’re about creating the conditions that let you keep saying yes to what matters most.
Helping professionals: social workers, counsellors, psychologists, educators, OTs, support coordinators and other therapists, often find their work spilling into personal time, late nights, blurred expectations or constant over-giving. At first, it can feel like “just part of the job,” but over time it leads to exhaustion, resentment and burnout.
These two interactive masterclasses were created to help you change that. Facilitated by Accredited Social Worker and Supervisor Jazmin Pursell (MSW, MMH, GCert Autism), you’ll learn to recognise what’s driving blurred boundaries, how to shift toward sustainable practice, and how to confidently apply your boundaries in real-world situations.
Each 90-minute session explores a different layer of Jazmin’s signature Boundaries Pyramid framework (Survive → Sustain → Thrive), a practical, reflective model developed from her professional experience supporting practitioners to strengthen their boundaries and wellbeing.
Both workshops can be attended individually or as a two-part series.
Part 1: Boundaries as Practitioners: Foundations
Understand what drives over-giving and build clarity around your professional boundaries.
In this foundational workshop, you’ll learn practical strategies to set clear, sustainable boundaries in your helping role. Through guided reflection, discussion and case examples, Jazmin introduces her Boundaries Pyramid to help you identify where you sit right now and how to strengthen the boundaries that need the most attention.
You’ll walk away with:
Awareness of the mindsets and values driving your current boundaries
Clarity on your personal and professional boundary patterns
Practical strategies for sustainable practice
One non-negotiable boundary you’re ready to put into action
Inclusions:
Facilitated reflective discussion + case study sharing
Downloadable reflection sheet
Jazmin’s Boundaries Script PDF (normally exclusive to Beyond the Caseload members)
CPD Certificate (1.5 hours)
Good to Know Info:
Both Part 1 and Part 2 are recorded, and all registrants receive replay access.
Masterclasses stand alone but complement each other: Part 1 focuses on foundations + mindset, Part 2 focuses on application + action.
Employer paying? Email contact@jazminpursell.com.au for an invoice.
Sharing is optional, if no participant case study is offered, Jazmin will provide an example.
FAQs:
Will the workshop be recorded?
Yes. Both Part 1 and Part 2 will be recorded. All registrants will receive access to the replay, so you won’t miss out even if you can’t attend live.
Does this count towards CPD hours?
Yes. Each workshop provides a CPD certificate for 1.5 hours. For social workers (AASW members), this is claimable as Category 2: Professional Development. Please check with your professional body or registration board to confirm recognition for your own CPD requirements. Jazmin is also a recognised ACA OPD Provider.
Do I need to attend both workshops?
No. You’re welcome to attend just one, or join both for deeper integration. Part 1 focuses on foundations and mindset, while Part 2 focuses on application and action. Each workshop stands alone but they complement each other.
Employer paying for your workshop?
If you require an invoice for your employer, please email me directly at contact@jazminpursell.com.au to request this.
I’m a Beyond the Caseload member, do I get a discount?
Yes. Beyond the Caseload members can attend for $29 per masterclass (a special member-only rate). You will have this discount code in your email (if you can't locate it, please send me an email).
What if I don’t feel comfortable sharing a de-identified case study during the workshop?
Sharing is completely optional. If no participant case study is offered, Jazmin will provide an example case to guide reflection and discussion.
Is this just theory, or will I leave with something practical?
These are interactive workshops, not lectures. Each session includes reflective discussion, real-world examples, and a takeaway tool (including Jazmin’s Boundaries Script PDF, normally exclusive to Beyond the Caseload).
