Boundaries as Practitioners
You shouldn’t have to sacrifice yourself to do this work well.
Professional learning designed to help helping professionals practise with clarity, confidence, and ethical boundaries, even under pressure.
Self-paced, practical professional learning, complete it in your own time.
When caring deeply starts costing you more than it should
-

In helping roles, boundary strain doesn’t always look dramatic.
It often shows up quietly:
Thinking about work long after hours.
Saying “yes” automatically, then feeling depleted later.
Absorbing emotional responsibility that isn’t yours.
Feeling unclear about where your role ends, especially under pressure.
Carrying ethical tension without the language to name it as such.
At first, these patterns can feel like professionalism.
Over time, they chip away at energy, confidence, and sustainability. This module is designed to help you recognise and respond to boundary strain earlier, before it becomes burnout.
What makes this professional learning different?
This isn’t a generic “set better boundaries” course.
Boundaries as Practitioners is:
Practice-informed and evidence-based
Grounded in real helping-professional contexts
Focused on how boundaries gradually become unclear or unsustainable
Designed to support ethical, values-aligned, sustainable practice
You’ll be introduced to Jazmin’s signature Boundaries Pyramid framework:
Survive → Sustain → Thrive
A practical model for developing:
Awareness of early boundary strain
Clearer boundary decision-making
Sustainable professional habits over time

How The Training Is Structured
This self-paced professional learning is delivered across two parts, which build on each other.
You can complete them in one sitting or across multiple sessions.
-

Part One: Foundations
Focus: awareness, clarity, and early boundary strain.
In Foundation Boundaries, you’ll explore:
Why professional boundaries are essential in helping roles.
What contributes to unclear or unsustainable boundaries.
How lived experience, values, professional identity, and workplace culture shape boundaries.
The Boundaries Pyramid (Survive → Sustain → Thrive) and where you currently sit.
The mindset of over-giving and where it comes from.
The relationship between values, mindset, and non-negotiable boundaries.
This part builds the foundational awareness required for sustainable practice.
-

Part Two: In Action
Focus: application, communication, and behaviour change.
In Boundaries in Action, you’ll move from insight into practice by exploring:
What creates blurred boundaries in day-to-day work.
How to recognise boundary moments early.
The Zone of Helpfulness continuum and ethical practice considerations.
ACT-informed noticing (thoughts, emotions, body cues, urges, behaviour patterns).
How values guide boundary decisions.
The SAFE framework for confidently communicating boundaries.
You’ll then complete your personalised 48-hour Boundaries Action Plan.
A realistic, observable 48-hour action step.
