Helping the Helpers. Because your work matters, and so do you.

My approach and what makes it different

I created Jazmin Pursell Consulting because I saw too many caring, compassionate helping professionals on the edge of burnout. They were just trying to “push through” heavy workloads, system fatigue, and constant pressure, all while putting their own needs last.

I’m not here to give vague wellness advice or tell you to “just practice self-care.”
I’m here to offer practical, professional support evidence-based and created by a helping professional, for helping professionals.

How I Work

I work specifically with helping professionals because I’m one too.

My approach blends the structure and credibility of evidence-based supervision and coaching with the honesty and warmth of real human experience. I draw from:

  • Over a decade of professional experience in government, health, and community roles

  • Formal qualifications in social work, mental health, and autism

  • My own lived experience rebuilding a more values-aligned, sustainable career after burnout

This means you get:

  • A space to reflect without judgment

  • Support to clarify what matters most to you, in your career and in your life

  • Practical tools to set boundaries, manage your energy, and lead with intention, not just react to the next crisis

I speak your language. I understand the realities of high caseloads, system fatigue, and working within rigid, under-resourced systems.

I bridge the gap between theory and reality, focusing on what’s actually workable for your role, life stage, and sector.

I focus on long-term change, not band-aid fixes. You’ll get real tools, boundaries, scripts, and mindset shifts you can actually use.

I’ve walked this path myself and bring that insight into every conversation, without ever making it about me.

Beyond the Caseload is a practical membership designed for helping professionals to reclaim balance, set boundaries, and boost wellbeing, without added overwhelm.

  • Easy-to-use tools and resources you can apply straight away

  • Support and connection with a community who truly understands your challenges

  • Certificate provided for your Continued Professional Development (CPD)

Hi, I’m Jazmin, an Australian-based Accredited Social Worker, mum of two, and founder of Beyond the Caseload, a membership designed to help helping professionals reclaim balance, set boundaries, and prioritise wellbeing beyond work. With over a decade of experience across government, leadership and community roles, I understand the pressures you face because I’ve been there too. I’m all about practical support, real conversations, and helping you put yourself first without guilt.
